AGRICULTURAL SITUATION IN ROMANIA1 – CURRENT SITUATION OF THE AGRICULTURAL LAND IN ROMANIA2 – CURRENT PRICES OF THE AGRICULTURAL LAND IN ROMANIA3 – AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION IN ROMANIA1 – CURRENT SITUATION OF THE AGRICULTURAL LAND IN ROMANIA - The agricultural surface in Romania owned by foreigners is of 709,000 hectares, this representing 8.5% of the Romanian arable surface. - The agricultural surface in Romania owned by foreigners increased by 10% in 2011 compared to 2010. - The demand from the foreigners to acquire agricultural lands in Romania is a growing phenomenon at present. The foreigners are attracted to Romania by the low price of the agricultural land compared to other EU countries and by the high agricultural productions recorded in the last period. - The agricultural land in Romania owned by foreigners, by countries, is as follows: A FRD Center Market Entry Services publication www.market-entry.ro
