      • Provide efficient and effective access services to support teaching, learning and research activities
    • Continue to build and maintain information resources in both print and electronic form
    • Support information literacy programmes in faculties
    • Provision of customer centered services
    • Respond to faculty consolidation programmes
    • Build information skills support programmes for all users

      • To meet the challenges of providing an integrated infrastructure for university research agenda and postgrad training
    • Develop a responsive information plan to support faculty research agendas

    • Build digital collections

      • Work with internal and external partners to advance the university’s community engagement activities
    • Improve library’s participation and visibility in faculty and university communities

      • Ensure adequate provision of adequate financial and human resources to information provision obligations
    • Formulate, defend & operationalize a library budget to support university’s information needs
    • Achieve better accountability of library’s finances
    • Ensure wider staff involvement in budgeting process
    • Partner with university and seek outside help to supplement library’s budget
    • Engage in sustainable income generating activities to reflect innovation and entrepreneurship in provision of library’s services
