  • Management Corporate Finance Descrição: Official length - 2 years/4 semesters/40 weeks of full-time study per year/120 ECTS credits. The degree includes two semesters of dissertation. Access requirements - Holders of a Licenciatura in Management, Public Administration, International Relations - Specialisation in Economic and Political Relations, Economics, Sociology, Business Informatics and Engineering or in any other related area. The applicant should have a minimum average grade of 14/20 points. Exceptionally, the scientific board may allow the enrolment of applicants whose Curriculum vitae unveils an adequate scientific preparation and a relevant professional experience, albeit with a degree other than those mentioned above or with an average grade lower than 14/20 points. Applicants should master the English language. Programme requirements - This programme provides a global and thorough level of studies toward a specialisation whilst seeking to achieve the following objectives: -Endow students with a sound preparation envisaging a more effective professional performance and therefore improve their professional careers; -Unveil management methods techniques and instruments which may endow students with a conceptual and methodological framework for the purpose of being applied; -Present the most recent knowledge and development in the two areas of specialisation (Corporate Finance and Marketing), whilst foreseeing the preparation of managers with specific knowledge in a given scientific area and corporate practice; -Complement the general and specific training, as accomplished by the managers, with updated knowledge in fundamental areas of the firms' day-to-day life, such as an understanding of human behaviour, the definition of information systems, its utilisation while a privileged instrument of strategic decision making, in the daily life and the corporate planning; -Contribute for the training of higher education teaching staff.
