  • There are 24 campuses in the California State University System with more than 375,000 students. These universities are the engines of economic change for the most populous state in America. They produce most of the state’s teachers, nurses, scientists and other professionals in more than 100 disciplines. Only four of these universities produce more master’s degree graduates than Cal State Hayward. (914 in 1998)
