How the world change during his run </li></li></ul><li>Early Life <br />Born January 30, 1882 at Hyde Park, New York<br /> When born he was so sick his parents refuse to name him until two months after his birth.<br />FDR. Got his secondary education at Harvard University <br />Where he study important subjects that will effect his political career : government, economics, English and public speaking<br />In his last year of college he fell in love Eleanor Roosevelt his distant cousin where he met at a Christmas party 1898<br />In 1903 he ask her to marry<br />

  9. 9. Entry to Politics<br />FDR first entered into politics when he ran for the Senator-seat.<br />
  10. 10. First Term <br />November 1932<br />13,000,000 unemployed, and almost every bank was closed<br />Roosevelt responded with a new program of reform<br />
  11. 11. Second Term<br />In 1937 FDR was inaugurated <br />Hitler invades Poland, sparking World War II<br />

Third Term<br />Franklin Roosevelt is re-elected to a third term with 54.7% of the vote<br />campaigning on a promise not to send American troops into foreign wars. <br />Under President Roosevelt, Congress passes the Lend-Lease Act, allowing the US to aid the Allied Powers without entering into the war. <br />

Fourth Term <br />November 7, 1944 Franklin Roosevelt is elected to a fourth term with 53.4% of the popular vote.<br />Franklin Roosevelt meets with Winston Churchill and Josef Stalin in Yalta to negotiate the post-war future of Europe.<br />Franklin Roosevelt dies of a cerebral hemorrhage in Warm Springs, Georgia.<br />
  14. 14. Summary<br />Roosevelt has been through 4 terms as president of the United States.<br />He became the president in 1932, inaugurated in 1937.<br />Passed Lend-Lease act.<br />Then died of a hemorrhage in his fourth term as president.<br />
