Early Life Born January 30, 1882 at Hyde Park, New York When born he was so sick his parents refuse to name him until two months after his birth. FDR. Got his secondary education at Harvard University Where he study important subjects that will effect his political career : government, economics, English and public speaking In his last year of college he fell in love Eleanor Roosevelt his distant cousin where he met at a Christmas party 1898 In 1903 he ask her to marry

Entry to Politics FDR first entered into politics when he ran for the Senator-seat.
First Term November 1932 13,000,000 unemployed, and almost every bank was closed Roosevelt responded with a new program of reform
Second Term In 1937 FDR was inaugurated Hitler invades Poland, sparking World War II
Third Term Franklin Roosevelt is re-elected to a third term with 54.7% of the vote campaigning on a promise not to send American troops into foreign wars. Under President Roosevelt, Congress passes the Lend-Lease Act, allowing the US to aid the Allied Powers without entering into the war.
Fourth Term November 7, 1944 Franklin Roosevelt is elected to a fourth term with 53.4% of the popular vote. Franklin Roosevelt meets with Winston Churchill and Josef Stalin in Yalta to negotiate the post-war future of Europe. Franklin Roosevelt dies of a cerebral hemorrhage in Warm Springs, Georgia.
Summary Roosevelt has been through 4 terms as president of the United States. He became the president in 1932, inaugurated in 1937. Passed Lend-Lease act. Then died of a hemorrhage in his fourth term as president.
