  1. 1. Do not whine about how hard your life is. We’re not to “complain, as some of them [Israelites in the wilderness] also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer” (1 Cor 10:10). “Do all things without complaining and disputing” (Phil 2:14).
  2. 2. Don’t use profanity. Never. “I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matt 12:36-37). “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers” (Eph 4:29).
  3. 3. Do not talk about others. If I have a problem with you, I’m to go to you (Matt 18:15-17). “He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends” (Prov 17:9). Do not post inappropriate pictures. It’s far, far better never to act inappropriately!
  4. 4. Be kind. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted” (Eph 4:32). “As the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering” (Col 3:12). Ask yourself, “What would Jesus post?” “To this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps” (1 Pet 2:21).
