  • 1. WE ACCEPT ONE ANOTHER, FOR WE ARE ACCEPTED IN JESUS.
  • 2. ROMANS 15:7-12
  • 3. WE ACCEPT ONE ANOTHER, FOR WE ARE ACCEPTED IN JESUS. Therefore:
  • 4.  One: We overlook our differences.  Sometimes those differences are ethnic. “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Gen 1:27).  “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:28).   Sometimes those differences have to do with opinions. “Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things” (Rom 14:1).  Phil 2:1-4. 
  • 5.  Some questions about opinions:    Is my opinion consistent with Scripture? Am I trying to bind my opinion on someone else? Is my opinion going to harm someone else?
  • 6.  Two: We glorify God.  The name of Jesus is worthy of all praise. God has given Him “the name which is above every name” (Phil 2:9).  Rev 5:9-10.   Singing begins in the heart. You are to be “singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Eph 5:19).  You are also to be “singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Col 3:16).   Does your praise come from your heart?
