  5. 5. Flag It consists of the red cross of Saint George (patron saint of England), edged in white, superimposed on the Cross of St Patrick (patron saint of Ireland), which are superimposed on the Saltire of Saint Andrew (patron saint of Scotland).

  7. 7. Big Ben It is the largest four-faced chiming clock and the third-tallest free-standing clock tower in the world. It celebrated its 150th anniversary on 31 May 2009 .
  8. 8. Tower Bridge Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England, over the River Thames . It is close to the Tower of London , from which it takes its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London.
  9. 9. Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace is the London home and primary residence of the British monarch. Located in the City of Westminster , the palace is a setting for state occasions and royal hospitality. It has been a focus for the British people at times of national rejoicing and crisis.
