The American public has developed a detached view on their food in the last few decades which has resulted in a rise of obesity, and health issues. Knowledge of nutrition is the first step in combating American obesity. Secondly, equipping people with basic cooking skills to maintain a healthy diet. Thirdly, we need to inspire people to make healthy cooking, healthy eating, and nutrition a lifestyle choice.
