Food & Drink • The majority of commuters do a weekly shop (77%) • 2 in 5 commuters buy groceries “on the go” • 61% shop for groceries online with 25% using their tablet or smartphone • 92% eat fast food, mainly for convenience and as a treat • 56% think it’s appropriate to see food advertising on the commute • 3 in 4 buy food & drink before a train journey • Price and flavour key influencers for product choice • 81% eat ready meals with over a third deciding they will make one for dinner or their commute • 66% would use a “diet delivery service” • 44% buy “dine in” meal deals on their commute
