What Kind Of Tool Are You

 1. 1. You probably haven’t ever compared yourself to a Hammer, or a Screwdriver. Or even a yard rake, but if you did, would you be used daily, and what for? Now last, but not least, how useful would you be in your current condition?
 2. 2.

But now what condition are you in as a tool? A Hammer with a broken claw, a Screwdriver with a broken tip, a Rake with no teeth? You have been damaged by the world using your God giving talents for worldly means.

 3. 3.

What if I were to tell you that in Christ all are useful for his purposes.

2Ti2:21 If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

God uses different people for different things just as we use tools for different task.

 4. 4.

A Hammer: is used to direct a nail using controlled force.

A Man: Some are very direct having a strong leadership style, not coarse or tactless.

A Screwdriver: is used to direct a screw using less force and a smooth hand.

A Man: Some you are just willing to follow because of the way they communicate their point, and their attitude.

 5. 5.

A Yard rake: is Used to gather scattered leaves.

A Man: Some have a God giving talent to draw men to them, and bring them into groups for their own good.

i.e.…Church, men’s ministry, discipleship.

 6. 6.

The world has it’s own tools for its own desires, but You as a Tool of the Lord are doing this task. Out of love and for the noble purpose of spreading God’s Word.

 7. 7. God does not NEED you to do anything for him, you are merely the tools that he uses, and if you. Do not do the job he is giving you to do. He will use another more willing tool to complete his will.
 8. 8. Eze 22:30 "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.
