For GPs, basically it is time to relook at infection control- safety to self and customers. Put a handrub in clinic with mask( surgical 3 ply ) – with a poster / notice. Ask the patient to wash hand, take and put on a mask if he has fever + cough +/- sore throat/ running nose. Practice hand hygiene after seeing patient ( wash hand ).
