Dream Isabella Foundation

Our dream is to build a small scale home for individuals with a chromosome disorder called IDIC15 or related disorders.

Having IDIC15 this means that children suffer from mental retardation within an autistic spectrum. Their abilities to learn are limited.

So they can live 24/7 under supervision when their families are not able to do so.

Giving information to parents with IDIC 15 children (buddy system).

Organizing congreses and information gatherings for parents.

Publish educational, scientific information on IDIC15 related disorders.

Promote awareness.

Work together with (local) governments, health insurance organizations and other healtcare entities.

Fundraising activities.

so what will we do?

TWarathon

On June 18. 2009 We will organize the first Twarathon in history; a Twitter Marathon

A marathon is 42.195 kilometers

Our TWaraton will be held 42 hours, 19 minutes and 5 seconds

Date July 18. 2009

We will try to engage people into the goal of the www.isabellafoundation.nl

Tweets will share stories of the how these childres live

Goal of TWarathon is to gain as many followers as we can

Companies become a sponsor for each follower

Other sponsor options are available (see other slides)

Individual followers can make a micro donation on the Isabella Foundation website

The TWarathon can be followed around the globe

We will have a TWarathon about dreams.. So we will be able to fulfill our dream

We will answer questions of followers or people who want to follow their dreams

Tweets will constantly try to engage people to follow their dreams through a smart programmed format

By following the TWarathon they will help us to realise our dream: start a home for authistic children who suffer from mental retardation

We will share stories of the lives of children with IDIC15 and related disorders in a positive, friendly way

We will tell real life stories of the difficulties people suffer in their day to day live

The home is about the quality of life, so we will take examples from all walks of life that represent the quality of live that we take for granted

We will interview people who have accelerated in Arts, Food, Architecture, Wine, Music, Sports

We will share stories about the motivation of other people to make their dream come true

We will have interviews with experts and well known people who live their dream so we can learn from them

We will follow blogs and share links about dreams

We will educate followers to follow their dreams

The core message will be ‘IF you would follow your dream, what would happen’

You simply answer the question ‘What ar you doing?’ and push Update

You see tweets of your friends / followers in your screen

By pushing the button you can follow people that you find interesting.

By Pushing the Follow Button you start following the interesting people you like.
