  • 1. Teaser poster for The Women In Black This teaser poster is very minimalistic. Not only because The Women In Black is a horror movie but also as it is realised next year there is still time for the production to realise more teaser trailers or posters. As The Women In Black is a very famous story they don’t want to give anything away to an audience who have not seen the theatre production. This makes an audience more interested as hardly of their questions are answered.
  • 2. Text and Font
    • To Contrast against the black background and dark image the only use white coloured font. They also use a faded font. This gives a deteriorated look which compliments the horror genre of the poster.
  • 3. Images
    • Only one image is used in this teaser poster. They use shadows to hide half of the actors face, ( shadows is a common convention in thriller/horror movies ). This is graphically effective as the background of the poster is black, half the images fades into the background
    • Again this doesn’t give much away to the audience which makes us more interested to find out what the film is going to be like.
