SaaS is a disruptive technology but also a logical answer to how software is going to get delivered: on-demand and rented, not owned. If everything is moving to the Web or the Cloud, then why not software? Economically and technically it makes sense for a business to adopt SaaS. In summary, it’s going to be a requirement for every business to adopt Web 2.0 tools and SaaS applications if it wants to compete in a global world. But, this also requires a mind-shift and a new way of thinking. Often, people are uncomfortable with what will change and are apprehensive to move to a new model.
