  • 1. “Look Into the Future…” Inland Golf Academy Sponsorship Package IGA Students during video analysis with Instructor, Gregory PratorIntroduction At Inland Golf Academy, our mission is to provide our youth with alternatives for success. To teach them respect, dignity and a sense of fair play; to give them hope, pride and a future through the game of golf. Page 1 of 13
  • 2. Purpose Inland Golf Academy produces numerous events and activities. Through versatility, we have something phenomenal for everyone! School Enhancement Program (SEP)  We are extremely proud to announce the implication of a first of its kind program to enhance our existing schools. We call this project Ocean. You see all streams and rivers flow back to the ocean. We now divert funds from all indicated areas back to our schools. Our intention is to build or rebuild golf programs, shrink classroom size, create scholarship programs and much more! We intend to enhance and support schools throughout the United States. Golf Training  IGA has an indoor training facility; using video analysis along with innovative visual aid equipment, we can proudly say we accelerate the learning process; therefore producing champion caliber students in record time. Golf Tournaments  The IGA produces several venues: • Benefits for at risk youth • Fundraisers for SEP High School and College scholarship and assistance programs • Events that assist and sponsor SCPGA youth programs. Sponsor a Child Program  There are numerous extremely talented, less fortunate, children that cannot afford to participate. You can choose one. Sponsor him or her and watch them flourish. These projects will serve our school systems and community in need throughout the United States of America. The SEP program has the potential to stop tax increases pertaining to schools and restore vital programs lost in the recession. Together, our communities and schools will share in the excitement of restoring the future of our children. We will enhance school spirit along with public interest in the education of our youth. What better way to give back then to our school system and community? Needless to say, together we can accomplish great things and create a brighter future for all. Page 2 of 13
  • 3. Goals The IGA’s main goal is to help students accomplish their educational goals. By providing our schools with the proper funding, they will be able to restore lost programs, and create new ones. The funds provided through your support will enable us to provide more alternatives to students with limited intellectual, physical, and/or educational resources. IGA wants to expand the SEP program throughout the United States, by assisting the largest learning center in the world, our schools. To reach this goal, we need support from businesses and the community. Remember, a child is a terrible thing to waste. The children are the future of our country, and our most precious resource. About the IGA The IGA is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt non- profit organization of the Internal Revenue Service Code. IGA is a supporter of other non- profit and charitable organizations. Supporting our youth is of major concern. IGA provides the community with a complete youth golf sports program. Inland Golf Academy offers participants an optimistic learning experience along with the opportunity to generate life-long memories. We create surroundings where parents and children bond. Children have fun while getting the attention and support they need in order to become successful adults.Benefits of Sponsorship IGA receives 100% of all sponsorship contributions which is applied to the project of your choice. You will be providing the IGA with the tools to enhance our community and build a solid foundation for our youth. Supporting the SEP will not only provide alternative revenue for our schools, it will ease potential tax increases. Sponsorships provide an opportunity for your business to promote itself while contributing to the success of the United States economic recovery. Sponsorship for IGA activities and events provides name recognition for your business, promotes community goodwill toward your company, and enables tax write-offs. You can be assured that your contribution strengthens IGA’s quest to provide assistance to public education, youth programming, family events, child development opportunities, health and fitness options for all ages, as well as other activities that enhance the lives of residents living in our country. • 5. Appendix Background Information ABOUT THE IGA Hi, my name is Gregory L. Prator. I am a thirty three yearveteran of the City of Riverside Public Utilities Water Department. In 1996Tiger Woods won his third U.S. Amateur Championship. In doing so, heinspired the world. A group of city employee golfers at that time invited me tojoin them, since that day, golf changed my life forever. In 1999, I won theFairmont Park Club Championship. I then realized the potential andimplications of a life changing game; a game that could bring hope, dignity, and respect to the hopeless. I then embarked on a mission, a mission to learn the true fundamentals ofthe golf swing. This I found to be extremely difficult to do. In search of, Itrained with as many top teaching professionals as possible. Don De Petro ofFairmont Park, Riverside California; Cheryl Thomas of Waterman Golf Club,San Bernardino California; Mike Hancock of Van Buren Golf Center,Riverside, California; Sue Cart of Eagle Glen, Corona, California; BenTheobald of Quail Ranch, Mary Ritchie of Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club,Moreno Valley California to name a few. In order to afford golf, I beganmarshalling and working in the field, my goal to bring the game of golf to thosewho otherwise would never be introduced to it. In 2006, I founded the Inland Golf Academy, a 501(c) (3) NonprofitOrganization. The sole purpose of the IGA is to assist youth in any waypossible. In the past five years, we’ve raised funds to assist high school andcollege students, started scholarship programs, and began teaching thefundamentals of the golf swing. In December, 2007 I became a teachingprofessional at the Van Buren Golf Center. As the IGA grew, I then designedand opened an Indoor training facility, creating an environment that promotesfundamental learning only. Combining all that I had learned about thefundamentals of the golf swing, I developed a method of teaching. Usingvideo swing analysis along with IGA visual aid equipment, I developed amethod that accelerates the learning process. At the IGA, we believe if one life is changed it would be a life timeaccomplishment. Since opening our indoor, we’ve developed SCPGA Juniorsalong with High School and College players. We now have mothers and Page 5 of 13
