worldwide. The top 5 countries are United States, Brazil, China, India,
Mexico respectively followed by Japan and Korea.
• The number of procedures performed in India were 8,94,700 in 2010
which includes both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic
procedures accounting for around 5.2 per cent of all procedures done
worldwide. Though the percentage is small as compared to the world
