  • 4. Waste Heat Recovery System Waste Heat is heat, which is generated in a process by way of fuel combustion or chemical reaction, and then “dumped” in to the environment even though it could still be reused for some useful and economic purpose.
  • 5. Heat Exchanger Heat Exchangers are generic term used to denote heat exchange from one media to another. Applications are plenty and in most of the industries. Heat exchanger is general term and used for any device where heat is exchanged from one media to another media indirectly ie without direct mixing or contact.
  • 6. Economizer  Economizer is normally referred for water preheater using flue gas from boiler. Provision of economizer increases overall thermal efficiency of boiler saving precious fuel. In boilers, economizers are heat exchanger device that heats boiler feed water before entering into boiler. Economiser recovers part of the exhaust heat exhausted by boiler. Provision of economiser reduces fuel consumption considerably.
  • 7. Air Preheater  Air Preheater absorbs waste heat from flue gas, and transfers this heat to incoming cold air ( combustion air). Use of preheater reduces fuel consumption of boiler/ heaters.  Air preheater (APH) is normally refered for hot gas to air heat exchanger. Hot gases are typically flue gases from boiler, heater or furnace.
  • 8. Downtherm Vaporizer  Dowtherm vaporizer is vapour phase heating system, useful when process temperature need is between 300 deg.C - 400 deg.C. Vapour phase thermal oil ( sometime called as dowtherm) is organic liquid which boils under stable condition and is used as heat transfer media.
  • 9. Radiator Radiators are used to exchange heat between gaseous media ( normally air) and another media ( liquid or vapour/ steam). Application wise radiators are used for different purposes, such as.. 1. Hot air generator for drier/ oven using steam/ thermic fluid/ hot water as heating media. 2. Air cooler using cooling water/ chilled water etc.
  • 10. Hot Water Generator Nimotherm offers combined hot water generator. Key features of hot water generator are, 1) Flue tube, horizontal design ensuring low water side pressure drop & pump power 2) Fuel used are HSD, LDO, FO, NG, LPG etc Hot water is also generated through waste heat.
  • 11. Air Heater And Hot Air System Fuel fired air heaters are used for variety of purpose such as driers, paint baking ovens to room heating applications.  Air heaters are normally tailer made as per buyers requirement
  • 12. Thermic Fluid Heater And System Thermic fluid heating system are normally used where process temperature required is between 125 Deg.C to 325 deg.C. Heat input used are various fuels, electrical energy and even waste heat source. Thermic fluid heating system consists of thermic fluid heater, pumps, expansion tank, dearator tank, related piping and controls.
  • 13. Energy Conversion System  Energy conversion system is an excercise to convert one form of energy input into another cheaper energy input to reduce overall energy cost.  A tailer made exercise and depends on geographic conditions which determines relative cost of energy.
