Unfortunately, Excel Connector works through the Salesforce API, which is not available in the Professional Edition.

I haven’t been to any 'regular,' ie, not-non-profit, usergroup meetings, but this Excel Connector, and especially the FixID() function are rocking my world at the moment. I suspect that generally speaking I will use DemandTools for most stuff that one could do with Excel Connector, but this FixID() thing is saving me a lot of time with some import tasks right now. Thanks!
