The band started off in 2004 and at the time they added influences of “Screamo” into their musical style. Since then the band from Surrey, have been rocking it out throughout the UK and America, while re-inventing their sound from “Screamo” to “Emo, Pop, Funk” while keeping to their unique style.If you like your rock and are ready to put your hands up and go wild, be sure to get your guitar (if you have one) or air-guitar if you don’t, and learn, sing and shout to their hit tunes such as “Save It For The Bedroom”, “If I Were In Your Shoes”, “Gossip”, and “Kiss And Tell” which will get you up to speed with recent singles. Introducing 3OH!3Band names seem to get weirder and weirder these days. It doesn’t get any better than “3OH!3” or pronounced as three-oh-three. Introducing the boys Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Mottefrom Boulder, Colorado, United States. Funny enough the band name is based on the 303 area code which includes Boulder and Denver metropolitan area, and is the influence behind their name. Although their musical style may not be everyone’s cup of tea for most they provide music for everyone to love and dance to, and it can be classified as “electronica” which contains synchs and electronic beats. This influence would be from their faithful meeting during a physic’s class in University of Colorado. Coupled with the other influences most notably rap, hip hop and rock represents the band’s unique style. The band have released 2 albums, the first self titled “3OH!3” in 2007 and “Want” in 2008 that included the singles, “Don’t Trust Me” and “Starstrukk” both of which made in to the US Top Billboard 100 chart as most notably “Don’t“ Trust Me” made it to No. 7.Since 2007, where they played their first gig in the “Warped Tour”, they been scorching the dance floors everywhere they played while distinguishing themselves as a good “electronica” hit to look out for. Sugababes “Get Sexy”Sugababes new music video “Get Sexy” was aired last week On T4/Channel 4. What do you think? Does this new approach in the style looks good on the girls or their heading into the wrong direction! We say in terms of the song title, it sure fits the bill. From the opening sequences to the end: Amelle dancing in a cage, Keisha on the couch and Heidi in a room with broken mirrors does say a lot about the video. Erik Hassle Gig Review @ iTunes Festival,The Roundhouse, LondonExpect the unexpected was on my mind before I headed into the unknown territory of Erik Hassle. Well in all honesty I only recently discovered Erik Hassle’s music and heard his music through his singles, I had my doubts especially because my metaphor is ‘you may sound good in the studio but doesn’t mean you may sound good live.’ Heck what do I know! So I made my way with confidence that I would be proven wrong! On the night Erik Hassle was on first as he was supporting Mika who was the main act for the night. With my low expectations, attitude and happy going mood, I was either expecting the worse or something better. As the lights went out while the band went up on stage to play the first song of the set with “Don’t Give Up” and the main star Erik Hassle gave a surprising start! My metaphor was thrown out the window as he proves that he is brilliant in putting a good show live! I give him kudos for that.Its hard to sum up how musically talented he is. In terms of vocals he knows how to wow audiences who have barely heard his music or seen him live. While his showmanship in terms of stage presence and entertainment value was kept to a bare minimum. All he needs is a guitar or a piano and off his goes strutting to one of his popular single’s “Hurtful” as he ended his set with his new single “Don’t’ Bring Flowers”. I may seem all bias by just watching him live for the first time. But it was something of a refreshing experience seeing a breakthrough artist from unknown backgrounds making almost everyone in the Camden Roundhouse stand up and take notice. House of GaGaLady GaGa is not known for her willingness to stick to ordinary fashion trends, so it’s no surprise that she works with a collective called the ‘Haus of GaGa’ who collaborate on clothing, stage sets and sounds and help her get creative. “In this industry, you get a lot of stylists and producers thrown at you, but this is my own creative team, modelled on Warhol’s Factory. Everyone is under 26 and we do everything together.” This is not a random side project as she described, “I’m very into fashion – I channel Versace in everything I do. Donatella is my muse in so many ways; she’s iconic and powerful, yet people throw darts at her.
