Homework is the debut album of French electronic music duo Daft Punk, first released on January 20, 1997. The album is considered a blend of house, techno, acid and funk It is noted for inciting interest in French touch music with several artists following the style. Below is the album cover for the album by Daft Punk called homework , this album cover is very well made. It represents a High school/College Jacket from America showing the name of the band. The typography is slightly rebellious , this is good because it also suits the type of music Daft Punk create. Relating the typography and album cover to the title of the album is a very clever idea. This is because when you first look at it you don’t quite understand the idea , this makes you look again and again and eventually draws you in.The album cover isn’t any particular genre being suggestive of the audience it appeals to , this is good as it may create/invite a new culture of music or invite people to listen to the music. Discovery is the second studio album by the French house duo Daft Punk, released on March 13, 2001. It marks a shift in the sound from Chicago house, which they were previously known for, to disco post-disco and synthpop-inspired house. The album provided itself as a soundtrack to an anime film. All of the music videos for the tracks on the album are segments of the film . Early versions of the album included a "Daft Club" membership card. The card included a code which granted access to an online music service, which featured tracks later released on the album of the same name and Alive 1997 . The album cover uses the same font as the album Homework. The font is more Modernised for this album but it is in essence the same typography It is again suggestive to the type of music they play and it also is minimalistic Which is the type of music Daft Punk play. The album cover could be significant To the change in genre between the previous album Discovery
Human After All is the third studio album by French duo Daft Punk, first released on March 14, 2005 internationally and a day later in the United States. With it, Daft Punk applies minimalism and rock music to their French house music style. It received mixed reviews noting its reported six-week creation, which is particularly short compared to previous albums Discovery and Homework. Again the same typeface is used , following the trend of it being “radical”. The difference is the TV , the tv is used because it is something that Humans often use , it’s the only thing I can relate to humans on the album cover Again a minimalist style is used to represent the type of music played Human

Again the same typography but stating the album name which is different to the main albums and an image that is related to Daft Punk – The two robot suites they wear. All the album covers are minimalist which is run all the way through relating to the music although the colours used are often bright and stand out
Posters From a number of found Daft Punk posters ive found , this is by far my favourite, this is because it is very minimalist , like Daft punk but very colourful at the same time. It’s a very well made poster and I would personally appreciate it in my room. It can be related to Daft Punk in everyway bar the typeface.
This is a poster I found for Daft Punk’s gig’s. I chose this poster because it’s obscure and doesn’t follow the Daft Punk brand yet it’s still appealing. I feel because it’s a gig poster rather than official poster the silliness from this poster can be forgiven. Even though it doesn’t follow the daft punk style it does do well promoting the band.
This is a poster for a movie that daft punk did all the music for. As you can see the poster can be related to daft punk even though it isn't advertising Daft Punk , this is a good way to promote Daft Punk because it shows that there music is suited not only to the radio or listening to but a good soundtrack for a musical.
