  • When you came into the room you will have been asked if you want to participate in an audio conference, and I hope you said yes or you won’t be able to hear me now! This dialog box appears so you can set up your audio, checking you can hear the music when you test it and seeing if your mic is working. If all is well you press Call using Computer to start this process off. If you havent done it you can do it now via the Audio menu, Audio Conference button you see here.
  • Here’s a typical virtual classroom screen, with the application you’re learning taking up most of the left side of the screen. On the right we have a participants panel where you can see your name and anyone else in the class. Below that you can type in the chat panel where you see the arrow pointing and press Enter on your keyboard to send the message so others can read it.
  • If we just have a closer look at the Participants panel you’ll see if you click on Raise hand the trainer and the rest of the class sees your hand up next to your name. That’s the same for the tick to answer yes to a question, or no, and the emoticons expand so you can choose (for example) the cup of tea if you need to step away for a moment.
