  21. 21. Example of consumption reduction of the whole Green Office network (reporting period 2009-2010) In 2010, the Green Offices showed leadership in reducing their climate impacts: their total carbon dioxide emissions (from energy, transportation, paper, waste) decreased by 2,811 tonnes compared to those in 2009. This is equivalent to driving 426 times around the world with an average passenger car. (Figure 1) Electricity consumption: In 2010, electricity consumption in the Green Office network decreased by 2,968,116 kWh compared to 2009 (information received from 114 offices), leading to cost savings worth 413,459 euros. Electricity consumption per employee decreased by 32% (information received from 98 offices). source: http://awsassets.panda.org/downloads/go_report_1.pdf Figure:WWF/MaijuSirviö
