A native of Israel, Ilan Ferder has enjoyed success as the owner of several prize-winning show jumping horses. As the owner of Ilan Ferder Stables, Inc., he has trained a number of horses that have competed in top equestrian events around the world. One such horse is Cenzo, which, ridden by Irishman Conor Swail, defeated Cornwall and fellow Irishman Shane Sweetnam by a narrow margin to win the 1.45m Horseware Ireland Opener CSI 5*, one of the opening competitions of the Tryon Fall V at Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC). Ferder and Swail have enjoyed success in several other competitions, including the Amalaya CSI3 Speed Cup, where Swail finished first riding Viva Colombia.
