"We take pride in our multi-disciplinary approachwhich has enabled us to host a number of collaborative knowledge transfer partnerships. We have developed stronglinks with clients in food, pharmacy, healthcare sectors", said Dr Gupta.The delegation comprised of team of academic members from Edinburgh Napier University, Dr Prof Foley Sophie, DrProfessor Charlotte Chalmers, Ms Gillian Davies, Mr. Grant Horsburgh, Ms. Ros Sutherland, and Prof NeilMacfarlane from Nottingham Trent. A complimentary team from IEC Group constituted of President Mr. R L Gupta, DrNaveen Gupta, Dr Bhanu, Dr Kulneet Sun, Dr D B Singh and Dr Roy along with academic members fromDepartment of Pharmacy.Dr Naveen Gupta said, The program offers best of two worlds, since students enjoy the global curriculum, small batchesin each classroom, personal attention from faculty of IEC and professors to come and teach from ENU. Learning,teaching and assessment methods focus on providing students with engaging contemporary methods which link theory topractice and require them to take a critical perspective on both. The students enrolling on to this program will havea cutting edge for the students to be a part of the elite workforce. This program is already being delivered in China,Singapore, Hongkong and Taiwan.The team from ENU and IEC also opined that, this innovative program shall help students to mould themselves for thegrowing Health-care and medicine sector.The cost of the program has been decided keeping in mind the optimum paying capacity of Indian students.On the occasion Dr B N Roy remarked, the program has a multi-professional approach which enables students todevelop the knowledge and skills required to continue at a more advanced level and enhance their professional/careerdevelopment.Dr Simi, Head-International Operations said, that the course will develop in our students a range of practical,intellectual and transferable skills. The students will enjoy some of the best research based activities, researchinformed teaching—an experience which has just been enhanced with the collaboration between ENU and IEC. We alsorecognize the importance of such partnerships and therefore we are developing close links with organizations relevantto subject areas especially large drug design organizations.Our Faculty and Professors are dedicated to providing high quality education in a vibrant and supportive learningenvironment, said Dr Bhanu-The Head of the Department-Pharmacy. The department undertakes specialist research,training and consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector organizations.The Group CEO, Dr Naveen Gupta said, "The visit concluded at a very positive note with the ENU and IECdeciding to venture forth more collaborative arrangements in the fields of Engineering and Management
