    • Students are encouraged to select the courses that are best suited to their abilities, interests and needs.
    • Teachers will have a conversation with students about the next logical course in the department sequence.
    • See your Counselor if you need additional advise
    • Discuss your course selections with your parents
  • 3.
    • What do you want to have accomplished by HS graduation?
    • What HS courses do you need for possible college majors/degrees?
    • What is a realistic academic load for you?
    • How will you fit in your co-curricular activities?
  • 4.
    • Required Courses
      • English
      • Senior Seminar/TOK (IB diploma)
      • Electives –
        • which include the balance of required courses
  • 5.
    • Have you completed your graduation requirements?
    • Fine, Performing and Applied Arts – 1 credit
    • P.E. – 2 credits
    • Health –.5 credit
    • TSEA - .5 credit
    • Please note that US history is no longer a graduation requirement for US citizens, but is recommended.
    • Modern Languages – 2-3 years recommended of the same language.

      • Engineering? Take Physics.
      • Medicine? Take Biology and Chemistry.
      • Architecture/Graphic Design? Take 3D Modeling, Drawing, IB Art
      • Economics or Law? Take Economics and/or History
      • Math considerations for certain college programs
      • Be sure to discuss your options during your junior conference with your counselor.

    • Thai citizens must be enrolled in Thai for Native Speakers class, or IB Thai A2; the Thai teachers will indicate the appropriate level of Thai for each student.
    • ESL students who are enrolled in EAP Center and/or ELW Language Workshop should consult the teacher for placement next year.
    • Math placement is by teacher recommendation. Teachers will inform students of their math course recommendations.

    • Read the Program of Studies (POS)
    • Completed your worksheet
          • Page 47 of your POS
    • Your Power School “user name and password”
          • same as used to check your grades.
    • You have followed the instructions on Page 49 of the POS.

    • Log in at http://powerschool.isb.ac.th

    • From March 6-18, click on Class Registration

  • 13. Select your electives and add the numbers to the box. If you wish to take a repeatable course in both semesters, you will need to enter the course number twice.
  • 14.
    • It is possible a student may not receive an elective course for which they register.
    • All students are required to select 3 alternate elective courses
    • Students need to select courses they will be comfortable with if their first choices are not available.
    • Alternate elective courses will be used only if needed.
    • If three alternative selections are not made, the administration will assign classes for you.

    • When you are done, click Submit.

    • You must see this page after you click Submit. It is suggested you print this page out and keep it where you can refer to it if needed later.
