Choosing the Right Courses <ul><li>Course selection is still the main focus. </li></ul><ul><li>Students are encouraged to select the courses that are best suited for their abilities. </li></ul><ul><li>Teachers will have a conversation with students about the next logical course in the department sequence. </li></ul><ul><li>See your Counselor if you need additional advise </li></ul><ul><li>Discuss your course selections with your parents </li></ul>

Additional Registration Information <ul><li>Thai citizens must be enrolled in Thai for Native Speakers class, or IB Thai A2; the Thai teachers will indicate the appropriate level of Thai for each student. </li></ul><ul><li>ESL students who are enrolled in EAP Center and ELW Language Workshop should also have an 8 th class. </li></ul><ul><li>  Math placement is by teacher recommendation. Teachers will inform students of their math course recommendations. </li></ul>

  13. 13. Dialogue Boxes will give students a short description of department requirements. They are advised to see the Program of Studies for a more in-depth course description.

Alternate Course Selections <ul><li>It is possible a student may not receive an elective course for which they register. </li></ul><ul><li>All students are required to select 3 alternate elective courses </li></ul><ul><li>Students need to select courses they will be comfortable with if their first choices are not available. </li></ul><ul><li>Alternate elective courses will be used only if needed. </li></ul>
