  • You should claim your business listing because you can change all the information in Google’s database plus add a lot more information and useful features for your customers. All of this will help you get to the top of the listings.
  • Once your listing has been claimed, you’ll get data that shows how effective your listing is. “Impressions” are how many times your listing showed up in the Google Places listing“Actions” are how many times someone clicked on your link, looked for more information, or asked for driving directions. This particular listing shows about a 10% click-through rate (152 actions/1466 impressions x 100%) which is fantastic.
  • Be sure to create and manage your online reputation for review sites like Yelp. Encourage your customers to review your business there too. Testimonials are gold – and they sway consumers to buy from you!
