Structure<br />Understanding and appreciation of the national picture – performance and plan<br />Potential contribution of genetic improvement to the GTP – meat and dairy<br />Harmonization of regional performance and plans<br />Explore alternatives to accelerate genetic improvement in dairy and meat<br />Share Regional experience in genetic improvement using oestrus synchronization and sex fixer<br />Harmonizing Regional plans for the future<br />

Expectations from Regional Group Work<br />Develop realistic plan – dairy and meat<br />why, where, which, how, whom, when ??<br />Regional/Zonal teams <br />Develop technical and logistic support required for implementation – animal handling, supplies, transport, DSA, etc<br />Data recording format, handling, analysis<br />Institutional arrangements – roles and responsibilities<br />
