  • LivingLabs Global Showcases theChanner TV goes social Mobile live television Challenge theChanner Inc Current models for television viewing are not designed around an individual TV viewer’s tastes and sensibilities. Instead of catering to an individual, programming is tuned toward markets, ratings and primetime television spots. theChannerTV changes this model, putting it on its head. theChannerTV’s model is about the next television to come, where an individual’s television programming is user-centric and interactive, allowing viewers to play a main role. With theChannerTV, broadcasters can finally connect with their audience, reaching their viewers over their mobile phones, while simultaneously learning more about them. Solution With theChannerTV, users are given a mobile software platform that enables them to watch live TV over the Internet on their mobile phone. • In.Co.M.In.G for Tourism : A Global Interactive Information & Communication Multichannel for Tourism Challenge Strateghia In a world of ever-increasing information flows, it is difficult for tourism operators and governments to deliver important and relevant tourist information to travelers. In answering this challenge, we have used new technologies to create an interactive multichannel system that provides individual travels with information about their destination. The service offered is an integrated technological and new media platform that helps the tourism provider (government – local and central –, tour operator, event management, airline, etc.) to delivery information to the tourist, using web portal, voice portal, new device (ipad, smartphone), multimedia point of information and so on. Solution The system is built as an integrated model that is structured on three levels: -The infrastructure is the foundation of the system. It includes the centralized database and the territorial communication network. -The over-structure delivers information and communication through an integrated approach; we accomplish this by using geographic information points, contact centers, internet portals and voice portals, mobile devices, handheld devices (such as the iPod, iPad and the android), and a diverse range of content and augmented reality technologies. -The final service experience is capped off with a comprehensive support system. This system includes tourism observational analysis (consisting of data analysis and interpretation), optional management outsourcing for information channels, assistance in destination management, and training. Results Our service benefits government tourism agencies as well as private agencies by optimizing the flow of information about a destination or a given offer. As a result, tourists enjoy a more attractive stay and are more likely to return. Our solution is based on a modular and scalable structure, which maximizes flexibility and information flows.
