  3. 3. <ul><li>Activity Name : Study Abroad Guidance </li></ul><ul><li>Organized by : SCOME-Thailand , Faculty of Medicine , Prince of Ramathipbordee University </li></ul><ul><li>Brief description of project/campaign/activity : </li></ul><ul><li>Share experiences from the professors about being </li></ul><ul><li>medical students abroad ; USA,UK </li></ul><ul><li>Inform the medical students about studying abroad especially in the USA and the UK , about USMLE examination and also about MDPHD </li></ul><ul><li>Compare and discuss the advantages </li></ul><ul><li>and disadvantages of medical </li></ul><ul><li>specialty in Thailand and abroad </li></ul><ul><li>Initiate and motivate medical students </li></ul><ul><li>in planning the goals of their life for </li></ul><ul><li>further study </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Contribution/anticipated outcome/known results </li></ul><ul><li>of project/campaign/activity for local committee : </li></ul><ul><li> After this event had been completed, we considered that we gained more than expected </li></ul><ul><li>and had good feedback.More than 300 medical students including the residents participated . Results from the questionnaire, they all were very impressed in this project. They had the opportunities to ask </li></ul><ul><li>what they wanted to know from </li></ul><ul><li>the experienced people. The </li></ul><ul><li>participants would like to have </li></ul><ul><li>this activity every year. </li></ul>

  6. 6. <ul><li>Activity Name : Pap Smear Project </li></ul><ul><li>Organized by : </li></ul><ul><li>SCOPH-Thailand , Nakhon Pathom Hospital </li></ul><ul><li>Brief description of project/campaign/activity : </li></ul><ul><li>Activate the women who have infection risks espectially having early sexual life. </li></ul><ul><li>T o find early changes in the cells that may need treatment so that cancer never </li></ul><ul><li>gets a chance to develop. </li></ul><ul><li>Guide them about sex hygiene. </li></ul>

  11. 11. <ul><li>Activity Name : World AIDs Day </li></ul><ul><li>Organized by : </li></ul><ul><li>College of Medicine Rangsit University </li></ul><ul><li>Brief description of project/campaign/activity : </li></ul><ul><li>- To raise the awareness of HIV/AIDS situation in </li></ul><ul><li>Thailand </li></ul><ul><li>- To provide information about alternative </li></ul><ul><li>treatments, researches and </li></ul><ul><li>development on treatment, </li></ul><ul><li>health care institutions and </li></ul><ul><li>support groups for people </li></ul><ul><li>infected with HIV </li></ul>
