Online Games Consulting & Services Q1 2014 numbers CURRENT 2014 TREND • 1st time since Double Fine Adventure monthly pledges go below $1m (Jan 2014) • Mostly due to the lack of heavy hitters during that period • The ratio of successfully funded is slightly going down • from 22.2% Q4 2014 to 19.8% Q1 2014 • Funded projects still around 25 to 35 per month

Online Games Consulting & Services What’s your possible move RECOMMENDAT|IONS • Campaigns are still heavily depending on the creator’s capacity to attract attention/finding an audience • Unless you can have efficiently access to a wide audience, don’t aim above $50,000 • If you have an existing audience and good media story, reaching $100,000 is easier than it was • $200,000 and more are still very uncommon and dependent on having the “perfect storm” • It is better to launch around existing activity on the platform. • Large projects benefit smaller project by re-igniting interest on the model. • Projects are getting more and more sophisticated • Lower %tage above the objective but more showed (actual gameplay videos, playable demos)
