Average is gradually stabilizing as more projects are successful
Momentum has greatly benefited <$100k projects (large number
funded), but positive impact was felt across all scales

DATA PER CATEGORY - Thoughts

Projects can be multi-category and multi-platform and have been
counted twice or more. Take this into account when looking at the pie
charts.

Kickstarter community is clearly PC-based, it likes adventure games and
RPGs most. Large projects create a bias there though.

Biggest surprise to me is the per backer pledge on iOS. Small sample
makes some whale-heavy projects weigh on the stats.

If you want to fund your PC game, keep in mind the median is $23,000.
More reasonable to consider than the average $233,000 that few will
reach…
