Why Cyprus has become a popular destination for studying abroad

Published on

This presentation, given at the ICEF Berlin Workshop in November 2013, explores the concept of studying in Cyprus and the multitude of programmes available - such as English language classes, boarding schools offering the choice of the IB or the traditional British curriculum, and universities awarding British degrees.

Cypriots are educationally equipped, highly mobile, and the Republic of Cyprus is linked to the EU by treaty. A well-known travel destination, it is also a country with plans to become a hub for English instruction.

ICEF Monitor presents a market report that reviews the tourism, language and higher education sectors in Cyprus - offering a useful overview for all those currently working in or beginning to collaborate with partners in this sunny Mediterranean island nation. Please read our accompanying article ''Market Snapshot: Cyprus'' here: http://bit.ly/1lYUvtI.
