  4. 4. Yellow Rust Stem RustLeaf Rust Monitoring of Pathogenic Variation • Trap nurseries • Resistance genes • Common cultivar • Some cultivars which have important genes • Pathotype/race analyses under controlled greenhouse condition on differantial sets
  5. 5. • Surveillance and Monitoring of the pathogenic variability • Screening of the wheat and barley germplasm under natural and artificial condition in the multilocation. • Registered varieties • Advance lines • Coordination of the institute and materyal changing between institutes • To enhance personel capacity and knowledge, organised training activities as theoretical and practical. • Incorporation of moleculer markers (Lr34, Sr24 etc.) related resistance genes to the breeding program.
