  • Understanding the Prophetic Pt. 4The Book of Habakkuk:“Habakkuk was complaining to God not about serving Him, but about thepeople’s wickedness he was experiencing.”Habakkuk 1:5-11“The Lord answers Habakkuk’s complaint saying He will punish them using theChaldeans. The Chaldeans were an ancient Semitic people from Babylon.”“Despite sending the Chaldeans to deal with people, Habakkuk complained toGod asking why He tolerates wickedness. Even though prophets hear answersdirectly from God on matters, they also need understanding on issues too.”Hebrews 10:35-36Habakkuk 2:4Romans 7:17Galatians 3:11

When thishappens God sends a prophet to remind of the covenant for correction or to warnof judgment.”Deuteronomy 7:3-42 Corinthians 6:14-18“Priests & leaders need to be corrected for the standard that God has set forhandling His word and His people. Leadership should be open to receive theprophet.”“God will remember those who are faithful to Him. It’s not for a believer todetermine good or bad or right or wrong, evildoer s will get theirs.”
