  2. 2. Objective<br />To assess the pattern of utilization of services being provided to the beneficiaries through Sub-Centres of Lucknow district.<br />
  3. 3. Methodology<br />Study design:Cross-sectional.<br />Study population: Sub-Centres and their beneficiaries in Lucknow District.<br />Sample size: 352 (applying formula 4pq/d2).<br />Sampling technique:Multistage random sampling used for selection of Sub-Centres.<br />Selection of the beneficiaries: Following systematic random sampling.<br />Inclusion criteria: The beneficiaries were selected if they have delivered a baby since January 2009.<br />Statistical analysis: Chi-square and Fisher’s exact test.<br />

Conclusion<br />Beneficiaries from Sub-Centre villages were found to attend the Sub-Centre more frequently than those from other villages.<br />Most of the beneficiaries availed ante-natal care and immunization.<br />No bio-social factor was found to influence the utilization of Sub-Centre.<br />Thank you!<br />
