Hand Sanitiser Presentation Transcript

  • 1. The Importance of Hand Sanitisers for basic hygiene purposes
  • 2. Hand Sanitiser
    • Every day, a multitude of germs are spread around by our hands. These germs can be fairly harmless and those with strong immune systems will often resist these germs easily, but they can be the cause of colds and tummy bugs.
  • 3. Hand Sanitiser Although these are only minor illnesses, germs can also be the cause of more serious troubles and can even spread infection in minor wounds which results in more serious illness. The spreading of these germs can be lessened simply by keeping your hands clean and following basic rules of hygiene.
  • 4. Hand Sanitiser Many of the germs on your hands can be killed by regularly washing your hands with soap and water, but one of the safest ways to kill germs is to use a hand sanitiser .
  • 5. Hand Sanitisers
    • Hand sanitisers contain alcohol and are specially formulated to destroy up to 99.9% of germs and bacteria. They were originally used in places where it is necessary to maintain a high level of hygiene such as hospitals, but have become increasingly popular for everyday use.
  • 6. Hand Sanitisers You can buy hand sanitisers as self absorbing gels which you apply as you would a hand cream. They absorb into your skin and clean your hands at the same time.
  • 7. Hand Sanitiser They are very convenient as you can keep a small tube of hand sanitiser gel in your handbag or pocket and apply it whenever you feel the need. These are so useful when a nasty bug is going around. You can also buy hand sanitizers as soap and sanitizing wipes.
  • 8. Hand Sanitiser
    • It is also important to follow some basic hygiene rules especially when you are preparing or storing food. You should always wash your hands thoroughly before touching food and make sure that your work surface and utensils are all clean.
  • 9. Hand Sanitiser
    • Raw foods, especially meat, should be stored at the right temperature, and it is important not to let raw meat come into contact with other foods. Contamination contributes to the spreading of germs and infections so to be safe, you should use different boards for cutting and preparing meats, dairy products, wheat products and fruit and vegetables. These are just a few of the hygiene rules for food preparation.
  • 10. Hand Sanitiser
    • Essentially, we are constantly picking up germs and bacteria on our hands. These germs can spread and cause disease and infection but by keeping your hands clean using a hand sanitiser , and by keeping hygiene in mind at all times, you can significantly reduce the spreading of infection.
