  • 4. Jayson Blair plagiarized many stories. Hecreated scenarios, lied about the places hevisited, and edited pictures to make it seemas if his stories were legit.
  • 5. Jayson Blair got a lot of attention. He waseven promoted to top writer of The NewYork Times.
  • 6. Jayson Blair got fired from being a NewYork Times reporter, which gave him a badreputation as a person and writer.
  • 7. Our group believes that his punishmentswere not severe enough. He pretty muchgot fired and that’s it. We think that heshould have also been fined.
  • 8. After Jayson Blair got caught forplagiarizing, he went to college to studyhuman resources and later became a lifecoach.
  • 9. All in all, we believe that plagiarism is badin general. You can lose your job, ruin youreputation, get sued, etc. In a way,plagiarism is like lying and the truthalways comes out.
