Mark Zobler I sent an email to a well known NY newspaper, requesting that it publish my email in its Letters to the Editor section. My email asked how is it that the newspaper in question rarely reports about Palestinian rockets fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel? The editor replied, 'We publish letters regarding subjects in which our readers are interested in'. I was surprised that the editor even replied to my email. I was not surprised by the editor's email. Some people know what I am talking about, and which newspaper I am referring to. If you know the newspaper (it has a history of being anti-Israel), I suggest that its readers use the same weapons, which many colleges use against Israel, in order to pressure that newspaper to even the playing field: boycott, divest, and sanction. I would not surprised if the newspaper in question corrects its reporting and editorial positions quickly. Mark I. Zobler 2 weeks ago

Avraham Offenbacher @AnnabelleMalo Explain, all your doing is writing a long drawn out comment without FACTS, show us where they are being biased, don't judge the judges, if they can't produce any facts and their wrong, so PROVE it like you are saying, good day to you and hopefully you will be able to rewrite what you wrote in a proper way and correct what the vid shows, because there are enough people who know how to cry about everything, what we need are the ones who point out mistakes and come to help and aid and correct, show us the light if we can't see it, but don't dim the light all because you don't' want to pay the bills. (If you cannot understand or attack me on different phrases or parables I used, please, tell me nicely, I'll gladly explain and put them in regular simple words, just I guess that i am writing among intelligent human beings) 9 months ago

Miss AB This is beyond ridiculous. You're picking reports and claiming they're unbalanced and you don't bother explaining or producing any evidence of this alleged imbalance - just your own unbalanced and biased views. That's not evidence, that's not fairness, accuracy or journalism - that's just more ideological propaganda and subjective garbage. If you're going to pretend this is about 'fairness in journalism', at least TRY to sound a little objective. But that's the problem, this is so transparent, it can only be of interest to people who think like you do and like to hear it and repeat it. Yawn. Any intelligent person who doesn't fall in the category can easily see right through this kind of garbage, leaving no other choice but to move on and get their information elsewhere - where there's at least some kind of attempt at sounding balanced. I think the reason there so many efforts by countless groups like this one and individuals voluntarily reciting the same mantra or hasbara is because cognitive dissonance is not invincible and the constant repeating is needed if it's going to remain intact despite the many cracks. Basically just patching things up with some brainwashing.. It must seriously be hard to do - but it does explain the need for such elaborate, deceptive efforts and reliance on vitriolic accusations repeated ad nauseam within the echo chamber. Pretty sad.. Why not deal with the fact that you're not going to like some thing that are written instead of pretending everything is biased. The most absurd part of this is that if the news was reported completely honestly, accurately, fairly and in unbiased manner, you would hate so much more of what is written because as it stands, so much of it is already completely unbalanced in your favor. All of the things you point out that supposedly make the news 'unbalanced' are all tactics already used constantly to demonize and dehumanize Palestinians, Iran, Arabs, Israeli refugees )or as they're called over there; infiltrators!) - you just get pissy when your chosen vocabulary is not used and then have a fit about it. The tactics are honestly just so repulsive. You're putting up a courageous fight, I'll give that to you. But the problem is that in this age of the internet, it's impossible to ignore all the information available that doesn't come from people or orgs with agendas, anyone that isn't part of your hasbara army and with half a brain is going to look elsewhere for an unbiased overview or opinion. 9 months ago
