  • Finklestein is beginning to tire of his anti-Israeli position(s).I guess in hisdreams he is struck by the histories of the Kamieniews and Trotzki(s)who also fought the 'Jewish establishment' in their time .Somehow their attitudes proved wrong, maximally self-destructive while the 'bourgeois' ideas survived, flourished and became victorious.Literature to this day has not taken up this very interesting phenomenon. Why?It is a universal theme-how some people moving off with seemingly great ideas fail on account of overlooked detail, that the earthbound commoner integrates into his thoughts and behaviour from birth to deadth.
