  • Prayer Ministry - individual and communal prayer on behalf of life, including the annual Roe v. Wade Memorial Mass and Rosary Procession, the National Night of Prayer for Life, pro-life Holy Hours in the parishes; "Prayer Warriors" and fasting companions for sidewalk counselors Convert-to-Life / Sidewalk Counseling - Prayer events include a quarterly Mass and Rosary Procession to an abortion center, Operation Project 100 and the 40 Days for Life and Eucharistic Adoration; Sidewalk counseling lovingly offer alternatives to women coming to abortion centers and offer referrals for those leaving the centers Project Gabriel Abortion AfterCare-Healing/Rachel Ministries - Through the sacraments, retreats, support groups and referrals to professional counseling, AAC-H offers healing to anyone who has been hurt by an abortion experience; provides training for clergy and mental health professionals; also networks with counselors and other providers of post-abortion expertise
  • 5. Youth For Life - peer-based outreach that involves and educates today's teens; dynamic young speakers; annual trip to D.C. or Austin to attend March for Life 6. Speakers Bureau - variety of life-related topics, including chastity, fetal development, post-abortion trauma, contraception, and pro-life activism 7. Parish Coordination – pro-life coordinator and group in each parish, supported by Director of Parish Services of CPLC 8. Civic Action - encourages elected officials to support and defend legal protection for all human life; the group monitors relevant federal and state legislation and administrative rulings, and seeks dialogue with legislators on life issues 9. Spanish Ministry - educate the Spanish community on all life issues through bilingual speakers and translation and distribution of pro-life literature
