American products are market leaders in the areas of suspension systems, wheels and tires for SUVs and pickups. They set the trend and are viewed as the best in terms of technology and quality. As a regional assembling hub for the world majors including GM & Ford, Thailand offers export and investment opportunities for American parts suppliers. Tier 1 & 2 parts manufacturers who are already part of the supply chain to assemblers in the U.S., including those of Japanese and European makes have particular advantage in terms of having references among these global assemblers.
