  • Malachite has been a mainstay in décor and decoration since the 17th century when artists melted down the mineral and used it for pigment in green paints. Heavily ornate and usually popular paired with gilded regency looks of the French renaissance. Arguably the finest green mineral on the earth, malachite's rich, vivid, vibrant green color makes it unique in the mineral kingdom

  • Lapis lazuli (sometimes abbreviated to lapis) is a deep blue semi- precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense color. Lapis lazuli was being mined in the northeast Afghanistan as early as the 7th millennium BC It was used for the eyebrows on the funeral mask of King Tutankhamun (1341–1323 BC) The finest and largest pieces in Malachite and Lapis Lazuli are in the Hermitage Palace and Cathedral of St.Isaac
