    • 4 Sanitary Sewer Overflows in River Road Area
    • Must be eliminated by November of 2006
      • Stiff penalties for missed deadlines

    • Underground Equalization Basin – River Road Park
    • Underground Pump Station – River Road Park
    • New Force Main Sewer – Brookford Drive
    • New Relief Sewer– Beverly and River Road
    • Beverly Pump Station – West of Trail
  • Project Schedules
    • Projects will be built concurrently
    • Construction bids – October/November 2004
    • Break Ground – Spring 2005
    • Completed by November 2006

    • Underground facility
      • 3 million gallon storage capacity
      • 120 ft. x 240 ft.
      • 17 ft. deep
    • To be located at River Road Park ball diamond site
      • Tanks from old Toledo Water Plant currently located there

      • From River Road to site (between playgrounds)
      • Reduces amount of construction equipment entering site from Brookford
    • Grading
        • Part of Treatment Plant project
      • Fill to reorient sledding hill
      • Fill to shift baseball diamond to west
      • Fill to improve park-like setting

      • Will be lost for one season due to construction

  • River Road Park Pump Station
    • Located next to Equalization Basin
    • Bulk of facility underground
    • Electrical panel above ground
  • Force Main Sewer
    • New sewer from Beverly pump station on west side of Anthony Wayne Trail down Brookford to the Equalization Basin
    • To be located on south side of Brookford
    • Shouldn’t disturb street – except for crossings at OLPH and Island Avenue
    • Traffic maintained
      • Will work with committee to minimize disruption
  • New Relief Sewers
    • From River Road, Midland or Hemlock down River Road to Brookford
      • New water line will be installed at same time
        • Should help resolve water pressure problems
      • Preferred sewer location is in east lane of River Road
  • New Relief Sewers
    • On Beverly from Brookford to Medford
    • Both relief sewer lines should help reduce basement flooding in area
    • Traffic control
  • Beverly Pump Station
    • Underground – with electrical panel(s) above ground
    • Will pump waste from Beverly sewer to new EQ basin
