Think, clothing, jewelry, home decor, footwear, etc. Also, consider movies, time periods, artists, and television shows of the past that might give your work a entry point for magazines. Make note of upcoming cultural events, for example, movies such as The Great Gatsby and Les Miserables had a very specific theme that could be seen throughout your own work.
