The video demonstrates how easy it is to take down and ship the art installation "Pick Up Your Pencils, Begin." The dimensions are 28' wide by 15' in height, This bell curve with 1000's of pencils, is designed for easy installation, de-installation and shipping. In just a couple of minutes you will see how straight forward and methodically each stanine is taken down.
Equipment needed is a hydraulic lift or scissors lift. Three or four people can take down the art work in three to four hours.
The nine stanine panels of the bell curve ship in five boxes. Contact the artists Harriete Estel Berman to find out more information. If you are familiar with an exhibition space with a ceiling height of 15' tall and approx 30 feet wide, please let me know. bermaid [at] harriete-estel-berman [dot] info
