Unit 2 Respect and Rights: Performance Task Hurtful Behaviors and Conflict Management: student led instructionGoal: To teach and inform your classmates with a mini-lesson about your topic and to produce an article tocontribute to the class Anti-Bullying book/magazine.Essential Questions: What is the problem and its related issues? What questions do I have about this problem? What strategies can I use to solve the problem? What are possible solutions?Instructions:This coming week, you will be given time in class to prepare a mini-lesson for your classmates. Eachassigned group (3-4 students) will be given a topic from our textbook. Time will be given to research your topicusing Google docs. After your research is completed you will write a brief, one page article with pictures aboutsomething related to your topic. It can be a narrative or informational newsletter style. The edited version will becollected and compiled into a class magazine. Next you will use this one-page article to present your 3-5 minutemini-lesson. Try to think about ways to make your lesson fun and engaging for your students.Timeline:Day 1:Give students a Cornell Note Taker worksheet and ask the student to complete 3-4 key main pointsindividually and add some detail.
