      • To develop staff and student expertise in the educational use of mobile devices and to extend the Personalisation model at City College Norwich
      • To provide access to innovative and flexible assessment opportunities, in particular, incorporating peer assessment.
      • Development of replicable systems of teacher development in m-learning by embedding reflective practice, action research, dissemination and collaboration.
      • To enable learning activities which are enjoyable, engaging and where applicable self-directed.
      • To provide a mobile learning blueprint for ‘e14-19’ curriculum partnerships for personalised learning success and progression.

      • Positive student (and parental) response
      • Photo and video used extensively by students to capture evidence
      • Positive staff response, including staff who previously did not have a mobile!

      • Students had no data package or sim card
      • Was this the right device?

      • Overwhelming staff enthusiasm - parents liked it too
      • A real influx of ideas on usage from staff and students
      • A positive and visible rise in self-esteem for many students (and some staff!)
      • A “pioneer” spirit bought real community collaboration
      • The development of an ongoing community of “Cool Tool” Champions
