    • Genesis 1 Origin of the WorldGenesis 2-11 Origin of NationsGenesis 12-50 Origin of Israel
    • 1 Peter 1:17-19 And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each ones deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from yourforefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned--
    • The Genealogy of Christ (Luke 3:34-48) … the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor, the son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah, the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech, the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
    • Galatians 3:26-29… for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christs, then you are Abrahams offspring, heirs according to promise.
    • Romans 4:13-25 (16-18)That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and Be guaranteed to all his offspring— not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, "I have made you the father of many nations“ --in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, "So shall your offspring be."
    • John 1:11-13 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God,who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
    • Revelation 5:9-10 And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth."
    • Mark 3:33-34 And he answered them, "Who are my mother and my brothers?"And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother."
    • Purpose:To understand the value of Genesis, to take pride in identifying yourself as a Christian and so live out Christian life principles.
